Hm.  Haven't logged in in over a year - have 1400 messages. Sigh.
A lot's happened in the past year - graduated, BFA in animation/comics. Got married. Moved from Georgia to Ohio to Kentucky. Time-consuming life stuff.

I'm much more active on my blog and Twitter.  I lost interest in Deviantart because it seems to me like such a dead end - other artists are on Deviantart, not prospective employers.  98% of comments I've received here, though nice, are useless fluff.  And it isn't professional to link possible employers to a site where other artist's work is scrolling alongside your own.  I'm sure there are plenty of arguments to the contrary, but whatever.  I joined this site when I was in high school, nearly 10 years ago I think.  A lot has changed, except for my handle, ironically - my website, blog, Twitter, etc. are all Winged Elf Girl.  That won't change.  

DA is OK for what it is, but I don't know if I'll ever bother to devote much time to it in the future.  The only thing that annoys me is that there is a ton of OLD CRAP in my portfolio here that no longer represents my talent but still gets commented on... I guess at some point I'll have to come in and delete a lot of things and maybe upload a couple new pieces just for the sake of not misrepresenting myself.  Boohoo to everyone who'd added those pieces to their favorites/collections, I guess.

Eh. So, hello DA - gotta go.
